TRP Silver Medalist Bryony Page visits Hobart
Bryony Page (UK), the Rio Olympic Silver Medalist in the Women’s Trampoline event, has arrived in Tasmania for a little over a week's holiday, squeezing in some training at the Kingborough State Gymnastics Centre. Currently rehabilitating from ankle surgery, Bryony made contact with Kingborough Gymsports to ask if it was possible to make use of the facility during her visit to the state to visit her partner who is studying Antarctic and Marine Science at UTAS. She has spent time training alongside the Kingborough Gymsports Trampoline Team.
Bryony also gives her time to coach the younger generation coming through the ranks in the UK. She has been coaching since she was 16 and enjoys being in a position to inspire the next generation of trampolinists.
When her recovery is complete, Bryony will return to Sheffield in the UK where she will continue her preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Bryony's personal coach, Paul Greaves also made the trip to Tasmania and was the key note presenter at the 2017 GTAS Professional Development Congress in February this year.
